Antique Stove Library

Over the years I have collected every available book, article, and tidbit of information on Canadian stoves. The most valuable sources of information describing stoves are the annual catalogues that stove manufacturers published to promote that year’s product line, termed Trade Literature. See the example here of a page from the McClary 1925 catalogue showcasing the Kootenay Steel Range.

I have thousands of pages of trade literature dating from the 1870’s through the 1940’s – that means  I can supply an original illustration for most Canadian stoves. I charge TEN DOLLARS ($10.00) per model to pay for the time involved for research, copying, and mailing.

If you want Trade Literature please inquire first, before sending money. To see if I have the manufacturer’s information for your model stove.
