Canadian Antique Stoves

Hello, my name is Mike Strong and I like metal. I really like cast iron, and I especially like cast iron stoves - I mean really old stoves!

Antique stoves and quality stove restorations have become a quest for me. I love buying, selling, and fixing old stoves.  In fact, I'm keen for just about anything to do with antique stoves  - try me.

I came to British Columbia in 1972 to search for placer gold. I did find some gold in these cold, clear streams, but I found more treasure of another kind - turn of the century stoves! I began using those old stoves to cook and heat with. Soon I had more than I could use, so I fixed some up and sold them. It was fun! I'm still fixing stoves (a LOT better now!) and it's still fun.
